ISE Orientation 2025
On Wednesday, 9 July 2025, the International School of Engineering (ISE) arranged the “ISE Freshmen Orientation 2025” to welcome all ISE new students. In the first session of the event, Assoc. Prof. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Sawekchai Tangaramvong, Ph.D., Acting Director of ISE, provided the welcoming speech for all ISE new students. After that, the information sessions were provided by the administration board on the topics as follows: 1. Introduction to ISE: Registration, rules and regulations regarding classes, exams, and evaluation of student’s performance. Prof. Artiwan Shotipruk, Ph.D. (Deputy Director of Academic Affairs) 2. CU NEX and ISE Support // Exchange Program: Expanding your horizons by studying abroad, ABET Asst. Prof. Tawan Paphapote (Deputy Director of Administration Affairs) 3. Professors from Institute of Science Tokyo Visit to Foster Research and Graduate Program Collaboration On June 20, 2025, the Nano-Engineering Program had the honor of welcoming Professor Masato Sone, Assistant Professor Tomoyuki Kurioka, and their Ph.D. students from the Materials & Structures Laboratory, Institute of Integrated Research, Institute of Science, Tokyo. The delegation was warmly received by Associate Professor Charusruk Viphavakit, Dr. Porpin Pungetmongkol, Dr. Ngaw Chee Keong, and Dr. Soracha Dechaumphai. During their visit, the guests toured the Nano-Engineering laboratories and engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty members and researchers. The conversations focused on collaborative opportunities in advanced materials research and the potential development of joint graduate programs. These discussions aim to strengthen international academic exchange and promote innovation in nanotechnology. This visit marks a significant milestone in building academic and research partnerships between the two institutions, paving the way for impactful, long-term collaboration in the field of nanoengineering.

Nano-Engineering Capstone 2025 [9 May 2025] - It’s a wrap!! The Nano-Engineering Capstone 2025, under this year's topic of Nano-Enhanced Food Packaging Solutions, has officially end! This year, the fourth-year Nano-Engineering students have showcased their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving abilities in tackling the challenge. Among all 9 teams! We were honored to have Mr. Joe Millar, Head of Technical (APAC) at AerCap — the world's largest aircraft leasing company — join us as an honorary judge. A special congratulations to Team HKT, the winning team!
