Former ICE students Tiparpa Soongswang, Nuttayos Charukulvanich, and Burapa Chinwatanakit have received the Top Paper Award at the 4th NIC-NIDA Conference 2025 for their exceptional senior project, “Data-Driven Forecasting and Strategic Insights for the Growth of Thailand’s Medical Tourism.”

Under the supervision of Dr. Aung Pyae, Lecturer in the Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) program at the International School of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, the team tackled critical challenges in data integration and decision-making within Thailand’s medical tourism sector. Their work resulted in the creation of a powerful predictive dashboard designed to support strategic planning and drive growth in the industry.

This recognition underscores not only the students’ dedication and talent but also the importance of equipping engineering students with the skills to create data-driven solutions with real-world impact. The project is a testament to the ICE program’s commitment to developing graduates who can combine technical expertise with innovative thinking to address national and global challenges.

Congratulations to Tiparpa, Nuttayos, and Burapa for their outstanding achievement and contribution to advancing data-driven decision-making in Thailand’s healthcare and tourism ecosystem.
