CODESS is a global initiative established by Microsoft that aims to inspire female students with a passion for technology to pursue their professional goals, while promoting gender diversity in the field. This year, we are running a 1-day virtual event to create an exclusive opportunity for networking with Microsoft leadership and employees in the region. CODESS SEA 2021 is open to female students majoring in business and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. However, students from other faculties who have a passion for technology are encouraged to apply. After a successful second iteration in 2020, we are back with the third edition of UNLEASH Plus, with more exclusive opportunities for young entrepreneurs working towards the SDGs, including in-kind and grant awards! UNLEASH Plus is a global 6-month incubation program, co-hosted with UNLEASH’s Lead Scale Partner, Chemonics International, for entrepreneurs working on social or environmental challenges, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Klai Rung team
The "Klai Rung" team, comprised of Aerospace Engineering students from Chulalongkorn University, has competed in the Cessna/Raytheon Missile Systems Student Design Build and Fly 2019 hosted by AIAA which was held at the TIMPA facility in Tucson, AZ, USA and achieved a rank of 27th from 104 teams from all around the world. The team would like to express our utmost gratitude for all the support and knowledge our mentors and sponsors have given us. The team recongises that without the extraordinary support, the team would never have achieved this amazing feat. ISE EEW Innovation Challenge 2019: You are dope!
First year students from AERO, ADME, NANO and ICE took part in the ISE EEW Innovation Challenge 2019, a competition held on 30 April. The winner group did impressive work on “O-12 Powerskate”. A runner-up group presented “Chlara”, an innovative application making driving safe. A very creative and delicious idea of drinking milk tea project “Pearl Buster” won a third-place and also a popular vote award. All 8 finalists were all brilliant! Big thanks to special guests: Khun Patai Padungtin from BUILK ONE GROUP, Assoc.Prof. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj, and Khun Pacharee Toorakidsana from dtac accelerate and dtac accelerate for sponsoring workshop seats for our winning team.

APAIE 2019 Conference & Exhibition in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia
From 25-29 March 2019, the representatives from ISE led by Prof. Dr. David Banjerdpongchai, Deputy Director of Innovation for Education and Research along with two support staffs participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2019 Conference and Exhibition held at The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose of this participation was to discuss possible collaborations between the foreign universities and to further explore opportunities for future academic collaboration. During the event, the representatives from ISE was able to meet with representatives from partner and non-partner universities worldwide such as France, Hungary, Netherland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Japan, China, Australia, Canada and USA.
