The ISE Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony AY 2025 Congratulations to all ISE Scholarship Students! The International School of Engineering (ISE) held the ISE Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony for the Academic Year 2025 on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our scholarship students. Beyond Borders International Club (BBIC) organizes CSR Trip to Nakhon Nayok Beyond Borders International Club (BBIC) organized a two-day trip to Nakhon Nayok as a grounding and bonding experience for its members. The trip aimed to strengthen connections between Thai & international students at ISE. Members took part in a variety of fun and inspiring activities, including sightseeing at Wat Don Yai, a CSR activity at the Chaiyapruk Foundation where they taught English and engaged in drawing with children, dinner at Wangree Resort, a visit to Khlong Tha Dan Dam, a Thai dessert-making workshop, and a stop at Montreux Café. BBIC is grateful for the opportunity to execute an initiative of this scale and looks forward to creating more impactful experiences in the future.

The Nano-Engineering Program in collaboration with the LBB, organized The 12th Joint Symposium 2026 on Biomedical Materials and Engineering during 12–13 February 2026. [Thai Language Below] The Nano-Engineering Program, International School of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering (LBB), Institute of Science Tokyo, organized The 12th Joint Symposium 2026 on Biomedical Materials and Engineering during 12–13 February 2026 at Centara Ayutthaya, Thailand. The symposium aimed to strengthen international academic collaboration and promote knowledge exchange in advanced biomaterials and biomedical engineering. The event welcomed Prof. Hiroyuki Kagechika, Director of the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering (LBB), and Prof. Hirokazu Tamamura, Vice President of the Institute of Science Tokyo, together with the Science Tokyo delegation, for academic exchange with faculty members and students from Chulalongkorn University. The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Artiwan Shotipruk, Director of the International School of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Charusluk Viphavakit, Head of the Nano-Engineering Program, along with faculty members and students of the Nano-Engineering Program. On January 30, 2026, Chulalongkorn University, represented by Associate Professor Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and the University of Essex, represented by Mr. Simon Foster, Global Vice President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Progression Agreement / 3+1 International School of Engineering at the Suan Ruam Jai 2 Meeting Room, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering. The ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) visited ISE to review the Aerospace Engineering Program From 7–9 December 2025, the Team Chair, Prof. Dr. Chaitanya Deo, and Program Evaluators, Dr. Valana Wells and Dr. Angela Trego, from the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) visited ISE to review the Aerospace Engineering (AERO) program and recommend its accreditation status. This process helps ISE ensure that the undergraduate program meets global standards and continually enhances the quality of education provided to students.

The International School of Engineering (ISE) is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding success of the I-Squared Hackathon 2025, organized entirely by our exceptional International School of Engineering Student Committee (ISESC). Over the course of 2 weeks last month, ISE was alive with innovation as students from across Thailand convened to tackle a critical challenge in data science and machine learning. This year, participants focused on tumor classification from liver ultrasound images, applying advanced AI techniques to a meaningful, real-world healthcare problem. Beyond the intense competition, the hackathon provided a rich learning environment, featuring insightful lectures, hands-on workshops, and dynamic panel discussions. We are incredibly proud to see this level of collaboration, experimentation, and professional growth happening right here at Chulalongkorn University.
