e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC) 2021-22
31 Aug, 2021
The e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC) is a flagship initiative of the e-Yantra project, organized annually for Engineering & Technical students. It's actually a robotic MOOC that teaches skills in Embedded Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Control Systems, Functional Programming, Image Processing and other contemporary areas. Participating teams are allotted "themes" that are abstractions of real-world problems. Themes are allotted in a selection process taking into account participants' skills and parent discipline.
Over the past 9 years, e-Yantra Robotics Competition has seen exponential growth in the number of registrations from around 4500 registrations in 2012 to 34,500 - only in India. The competition runs over 6-7 months during which participating teams work under the expert guidance of e-Yantra mentors. Prizes are cash and a coveted 6-week summer internship at IIT Bombay.

Registrations are open till: 20th of September 2021, 11:59 PM
This year e-Yantra has opened registrations for students internationally. We solicit your help in reaching out to your students. We believe this is a compelling way to connect students across the world in the spirit of competition.
Participation requires one to be a full-time student of an undergraduate program in a polytechnic, engineering college or university. The competition requires only a basic knowledge of programming - e-Yantra trains students (online) from scratch in the competition.
Prizes and benefits for students include e-Yantra (IIT Bombay) Certificates, 6-Weeks Paid Internships at IIT Bombay, Cash Prizes, e-Yantra Goodies, etc.

ISE Proudly Congratulates Our Students on the I-Squared Hackathon 2025!
ISE Proudly Congratulates Our Students on the I-Squared Hackathon 2025! The International School of Engineering (ISE) is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding success of the I-Squared Hackathon 2025, organized entirely by our exceptional International School of Engineering Student Committee (ISESC). Over the course of 2 weeks last month, ISE was alive with innovation as students from across Thailand convened to tackle a critical challenge in data science and machine learning. This year, participants focused on tumor classification from liver ultrasound images, applying advanced AI techniques to a meaningful, real-world healthcare problem. Beyond the intense competition, the hackathon provided a rich learning environment, featuring insightful lectures, hands-on workshops, and dynamic panel discussions. We are incredibly proud to see this level of collaboration, experimentation, and professional growth happening right here at Chulalongkorn University. A Heartfelt Thank You An event of this magnitude is a collaborative effort. We extend our deepest gratitude to: Our Generous Sponsors: Thank you to Google, Gulf, and Bright Hair Studio for your invaluable support of this student-led initiative. Our Esteemed Lecturers & Mentors: Special thanks to Dr. Jing Tang, D.Eng., Dr. Thananop Kobchaisawat, and Mr. Norapat Buppodom for dedicating your time and sharing your expertise. We also thank Fiona H.Y. Lee, Chatchai Antarasena, and Piya Siribodhi from Google for their guidance and mentorship during the event. Our Incredible Students: Above all, congratulations to the ISESC staff and organizers. Your hard work, professionalism, and dedication brought this powerful event to life.
