2nd AUAP-VEX International Robotics Competition

The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), in cooperation with Siam University (SU), Thailand and VEX Robotics, Innovation First International (Wuhan) Ltd., USA., will organize the 2nd AUAP-VEX International Robotics Competition, scheduled on 14-17 March 2022, and to be conducted virtually.
The recent disruption to the conventional ways of teaching and learning has ushered in the new ways to develop, and transform Higher Education systems. Further, the ever-growing demand for modern technologies has reinforced the notion that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be the main technology of the future; and it is anticipated to revolutionize our world.
Thus, the Secretariat would like to build on the achievements of the 2nd AUAP-VEX Robotics Competitions. The coming event will focus on the comprehensive application of robots, and the technical skills of the participating teams. Due to its innovative nature, we expect the tournament to be more intuitive, intense, and entertaining.
The participating teams will independently build robots, and compete virtually.

The Nano-Engineering Program in collaboration with the LBB, organized The 12th Joint Symposium 2026 on Biomedical Materials and Engineering during 12–13 February 2026.
[Thai Language Below] The Nano-Engineering Program, International School of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering (LBB), Institute of Science Tokyo, organized The 12th Joint Symposium 2026 on Biomedical Materials and Engineering during 12–13 February 2026 at Centara Ayutthaya, Thailand. The symposium aimed to strengthen international academic collaboration and promote knowledge exchange in advanced biomaterials and biomedical engineering. The event welcomed Prof. Hiroyuki Kagechika, Director of the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering (LBB), and Prof. Hirokazu Tamamura, Vice President of the Institute of Science Tokyo, together with the Science Tokyo delegation, for academic exchange with faculty members and students from Chulalongkorn University. The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Artiwan Shotipruk, Director of the International School of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Charusluk Viphavakit, Head of the Nano-Engineering Program, along with faculty members and students of the Nano-Engineering Program. ISE Proudly Congratulates Our Students on the I-Squared Hackathon 2025! The International School of Engineering (ISE) is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding success of the I-Squared Hackathon 2025, organized entirely by our exceptional International School of Engineering Student Committee (ISESC). Over the course of 2 weeks last month, ISE was alive with innovation as students from across Thailand convened to tackle a critical challenge in data science and machine learning. This year, participants focused on tumor classification from liver ultrasound images, applying advanced AI techniques to a meaningful, real-world healthcare problem. Beyond the intense competition, the hackathon provided a rich learning environment, featuring insightful lectures, hands-on workshops, and dynamic panel discussions. We are incredibly proud to see this level of collaboration, experimentation, and professional growth happening right here at Chulalongkorn University.
