Chula Engineering Celebrates AerCap Scholarship Awards 2024 Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Engineering proudly hosted the prestigious AerCap Scholarship Awards Ceremony on 5 September 2024. The event recognized ten outstanding aerospace engineering students for their academic excellence and promising futures in the aerospace industry. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Joe Millar, Vice President and Head of Technical Asia Pacific at AerCap, alongside distinguished faculty members. Mr. Millar presented the scholarship certificates, a testament to AerCap’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in aviation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Dean of Chula Engineering, expressed profound gratitude to AerCap, highlighting the long-standing partnership that began in 2021. He emphasized how this collaboration has significantly enriched the academic and professional trajectories of Chula’s students. The scholarship recipients also shared heartfelt thanks, emphasizing the life-changing impact of AerCap’s support. The AerCap Scholarship is fully funded, covering all tuition and program fees until graduation. It also offers the students the opportunity to participate in an internship and research projects with AerCap. The AerCap Scholarship continues to play an instrumental role in empowering Chula Engineering students, enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits and contribute meaningfully to the aerospace industry. Nano Camp 2024
ทางหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมนาโน สำนักงานบริหารหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมนานาชาติ มีการจัดกิจกรรม Nano Camp 2024 ในวันที่ 18-19 พฤษภาคม 2567 ณ ตึกจุฬาพัฒน์ 14 เพื่อเปิดโอกาสในน้องๆมัธยมปลายทุกชั้นปี ที่ความสนใจทางด้านวิศวกรรมนาโนเข้ามาทำความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตรผ่านกิจกรรมต่างๆ และ ได้เรียนรู้ผ่านการปฏิบัติจริง เช่น การทำเสปรย์กันน้ำและการสังเคราะห์อนุภาคนาโนทองคำ โดยกระบวนการคอลลอยด์ รวมถึงน้องๆยังได้ลงมือใช้เครื่องมือบ่งลักษณะวัสดุ (Material Characterisation) ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), UV/Vis Spectrophotometer และ Zeta-sizer และกิจกรรมอีกมากมาย ซึ่งในการจัดตั้ง Nano Camp 2024 ทั้งหมด มี รศ.ดร.จรัสรัก วิภาวกิจ ซึ่งเป็นประธานหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมนาโน เป็นที่ปรึกษา สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ทาง IG: isenano_official #chulananocamp2024 Nano-Engineering (NANO), International School of Engineering (ISE) organized Nano Camp 2024 on May 18-19, 2024 at Chulapat 14 Building to provide opportunities for high school students who are interested in Nano-Engineering to understand the curriculum through various activities and learning by doing, such as making hydrophobic sprays and gold nanoparticles synthesis via colloidal method. The students also got to use material characterization tools such as Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, Zeta-sizer and many more. All of the Nano Camp 2024 activities are under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Charusluk Viphavakit, Ph.D., who is a Head of Nano-Engineering program. On Thursday 23, 2023, ISE welcomed the representatives from Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI), Dr. Poh Soon Lim, Overseas Business Development Director, and Ms. Noriko Kawamura, Asia Business Group Leader, Global Business Division, MRI. The purpose of this visit was to discuss and exchange views on the potential collaborations on the internship and career program at MRI.

On Saturday, November 11, 2023, the International School of Engineering (ISE) arranged the “ISE Open House 2023” from 8:00 – 15:00 hrs. This year event is under the concept of “Illuminate the Future: Explore, Connect, Succeed”, the students received all information about admission to the undergraduate programs at ISE and also get to see the Academic Booths, consisting of a wide range of captivating activities from all 5 branches including NANO, AERO, ADME-V, ICE, and Robotics&AI.
