Congratulations to the students from the CUHAR for winning 3rd Place in the 30K COTS category at the International Rocket Engineering Competition 2025 (IREC 2025)! ขอแสดงความยินดีแก่นิสิตจากชมรม Chulalongkorn University High Altitude Research Club (CUHAR) ที่ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 3 ประเภท 30K COTS จากการแข่งขัน International Rocket Engineering Competition 2025 (IREC 2025) ที่เมืองมิดแลนด์ รัฐเท็กซัส ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ระหว่างวันที่ 9 - 14 มิถุนายน 2568 ในการแข่งขันประเภท 30K COTS นี้ ทีมจาก University of Canterbury คว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศอันดับที่ 1 ตามด้วย University of Melbourne เป็นอันดับที่ 2 โดยการแข่งขัน IREC 2025 ครั้งนี้ มีทีมที่ได้รับคัดเลือกให้เข้าแข่งขันในรอบสุดท้ายทั้งหมด 144 ทีมจากสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีชื่อเสียงด้าน Aerospace Engineering เช่น University of California at Berkeley, Purdue University, University of Texas at Austin, Seoul National University, และสถาบันการศึกษาชั้นนำอื่นๆ ทั่วโลก ความท้าทายในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ ไม่ใช่แค่การออกแบบและพัฒนาจรวดที่มีประสิทธิภาพสูง แต่ยังต้องสามารถรับมือกับการทำงานในสภาพอากาศที่แปรปรวน และยังต้องสามารถพัฒนาระบบติดตามที่ระบุตำแหน่งของจรวดได้อย่างถูกต้องแม่นยำอีกด้วย ผลสำเร็จในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นหลักชัยสำคัญอีกครั้งหนึ่งในการพัฒนาคุณภาพของการศึกษาและเทคโนโลยีการบินและอวกาศของประเทศไทย ขอขอบคุณผู้สนับสนุนโครงการของทีม CUHAR ในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ 1. คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย 2. ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) 3. บริษัท ไทยคม จำกัด 4. บริษัท ทรัพย์เจริญยิ่ง ไวร์คัท จำกัด 5. In the 30K COTS category of the competition, the University of Canterbury team won the first prize, and the University of Melbourne team the second among qualified 144 world-class aerospace engineering institutes including the University of California at Berkeley, Purdue University, University of Texas at Austin, and Seoul National University. The competition grand challenges reflects students’ aerospace engineering skills to design and develop a high-performance rocket capable of operating effectively in unpredictable atmospheric conditions. Moreover, the rocket featured a precise and reliable tracking system capable of accurately identifying its location. This achievement marks another milestone in the pursuit of high-quality education and advancement in aerospace technology.
